My bosses 35th birthday was a couple of weeks ago. I decided to make him an all Chocolate cake as Chocolate is his favorite next to Cheesecake.
I got on Food Network to find the ulitmate Chocolate Cake. This cake is called a Chocolate Chocolate with Chocolate Ganach. Yep, super rich and oh so yummy. The comment I love the most that day was "OMG, I just gained 10 lbs looking at it." Jason was super excited and could not believe I made it. His eyes got big as saucers. I love it when he does that.
I did learn a thing or two when making this cake. Most important was to let the ganach cool a bit before pouring it on the cake. I can not tell you how long I had to keep scraping the ganach back onto the cake. The other thing I learned was to be sure the sides of the cake are seriously smooth and cut down. It was too bumpy for my taste. No one else seemed to notice but I did.

Hi Debbi!
You are really taking this cake decorating and running with it...you've made(and posted)so many great looking cakes...GO, Girl! You must have a real oven by now, or are you still using the Easy Bake Oven, powered by a 100 watt light bulb?
Thanks for sharing, Erin : )
